The fragmentiX CLUSTER® is a highly available, fail-safe storage cluster solution that has been specially developed for business-critical applications, government agencies, and organizations with the highest requirements for data security, availability, and performance.

Each fragmentiX CLUSTER comes standard with two fully redundant CLUSTER NODES (A + B). CLUSTER NODE B acts as a failover system: If NODE A fails, NODE B automatically takes over after a minimal interruption time, without manual intervention or complex switching.

Maximum scalability and network performance
The fragmentiX CLUSTER supports up to 26 addressable storage locations (LOCATIONS A–Z), making it ideal for distributed storage architectures and multi-tenant environments.
For maximum bandwidth and redundancy, the system features:
- 8 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ LAN interfaces
- 8 × 10 Gbit/s SFP+ WAN interfaces
This powerful network equipment enables fast data replication, cross-location cluster scenarios, and seamless integration into existing high-performance networks.

Mission-critical support & operating system updates
Every fragmentiX CLUSTER comes with 5 years of MISSION CRITICAL on-site hardware support – for maximum operational reliability and short response times in an emergency.
- frXOS operating system updates are included for the first 12 months from the date of purchase
- For long-term operation, extended frXOS update support is recommended, which can be added as an option
